Come celebrate the 177th year of the second Fort Nisqually in DuPont (the 1833 site can be found at The Home Course). This site is normally off-limits to the general public, but for one day only this year you can walk amongst history!
DuPont Historical Society will partner with the Nisqually Tribe to host a Salmon Bake on
the original Site of the Hudson Bay Company Fort Nisqually in DuPont, Washington.
The Celebration will include Native American Dancers, Wood Carving Demonstrations,
Old-tyme Music, children’s activities and more.
The Celebration will be held at the 1843 Fort Nisqually Site located on Center Drive
across the street from the DuPont Civic Center. Parking will be available at the Civic
Center, 1700 Civic Drive, DuPont, Washington.
The Celebration is free and open to the public. The cost of the Salmon Bake is $10 for
adults and $5 for kids.
While in DuPont visit our 12 miles of designated trails, 50 acres of developed parks, 500
